Deborah McGuire practices in all areas of estate law, with a focus on estate administration and litigation. Deborah has extensive experience gained from working as a lawyer for both private firms and the Governments of Alberta and Canada. She has appeared before the Court of Appeal, the Court of Queen’s Bench, the Tax Court of Canada and the Provincial Court of Alberta. Whether assisting a personal representative to administer an estate, defending a claim, or assisting a beneficiary pursue a claim against an estate, she aims to provide clients with easy to understand advice in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Deborah studied law at the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Victoria. She has been practicing law since 2000. Deborah first served clients at The Estate House on a part time basis in 2007. After pursuing career opportunities in the public and private sectors, Deborah returned to The Estate House to serve clients on a full time basis in 2016.
