Reena came to The Estate House in 2019 to assist clients with estate planning, administration, and litigation. She brings a variety of legal experience, having practised in the areas of family, corporate, real estate, and immigration law.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts with a major in political science and a minor in history at the University of Alberta in 2009, Reena obtained her law degree from the University of Birmingham in England. After working at a large corporate law firm in London, Reena returned to Canada and completed her articles at a reputable corporate firm in Edmonton, being called to the Alberta Bar in 2015.
Having previously practised as a family lawyer, as well as advising the Minister of Community and Social Services, Reena is highly mindful of sensitive issues among families, valuing both professionalism and compassion when working for her clients. With a passion for access to justice, Reena believes in giving control to her clients over their matters through clearly discussing their legal issues and setting out practical options to reach affordable resolutions. This is why Reena continues to volunteer her legal services at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.
Reena speaks conversational French (having lived in Paris for a few years), enjoys traveling, yoga, is a bit of a film buff, and loves nothing more than clearing out her inbox.
